Chunk Of 1940s Fighter Jet May Have Been Found In Johns Pond

A Boston-based historian believes he found remnants of a 1940s fighter jet in Johns Pondlast Friday, September 1. Author Eric T. Wiberg said he found a “serrated chunk” of the aircraft about two feet square while searching for the wreck of a jet that crashed into the pond in 1949.
